Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to join the Aero Equipment ITR Engineering team in Warsaw, owning customer-specific Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Equipment projects from proposal through execution.

You will lead engineering activities, own technical execution, and drive cross-functional reviews with stakeholders, ensuring BOM accuracy, regulatory compliance, and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Significant engineering experience with increasing responsibility in project engineering or BOM development.
• Experience with power generation, rotating equipment, or complex industrial systems.
• Customer-facing engineering experience including technical clarification and cross-functional coordination.
• Ability to independently manage technical activities and resolve complex issues across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering activities from proposal through project execution.
• Own technical execution of assigned customer projects and BOM accuracy.
• Lead technical and design reviews with Chief Engineers and stakeholders.
• Identify risks and drive mitigation actions.
• Provide technical direction to engineers supporting projects.
• Develop and review BOMs, drawings, and project documentation.
