Job summary

DP World is seeking a Senior Manager Accounting to lead accounting, reporting and governance for logistics operations across Poland, Hungary, Czechia and Slovakia. You will drive IFRS reporting, internal controls and intercompany reconciliations, while supporting finance transformation and FCCS implementation.

You will collaborate with local and group teams, auditors and external partners to ensure timely, accurate financial statements and robust governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance/economics or related field with a professional qualification.
• Significant IFRS, statutory reporting, consolidation, and controls experience in a multinational.
• Knowledge of IFRS, audit requirements, balance sheet management and governance.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP or similar ERP/reporting platforms.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication skills and cross-country collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for Logistics across multiple countries.
• Ensure accurate IFRS-compliant statements and local statutory reporting.
• Maintain internal controls, governance, and financial compliance processes.
• Oversee reconciliations and data integrity of the balance sheet.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide documentation.
• Investigate intercompany balances, variances, and reconciliation issues.
• Support group consolidation and alignment with corporate reporting.
• Perform variance analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Monitor AR/AP aging and guide local teams on items outstanding.
• Act as finance lead during month-end and year-end closes across countries.
• Drive finance transformation, standardization, and automation initiatives.
• Lead FCCS implementation testing and issue resolution; improve processes.
• Promote BI tooling adoption for improved reporting and decision-making.
• Provide onboarding and knowledge sharing to the finance team.

About the role

As Senior Manager Accounting, you will lead the accounting, reporting, and governance activities for DP World Logistics operations across Poland, Hungary, Czechia, and Slovakia. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls, supporting compliance with IFRS and local statutory requirements, and driving continuous improvement across finance processes and systems.

Working closely with local finance teams, Group Finance, Tax, Reporting, and external auditors, you will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting business performance, and enhancing reporting capabilities across the region. The position also supports finance transformation initiatives, including the ongoing development of Oracle FCCS and business intelligence solutions.

How you will contribute

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes for Logistics operations across Poland, Hungary, Czechia, and Slovakia.
• Ensure the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local statutory regulations.
• Maintain robust internal controls, governance frameworks, and financial compliance processes.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and provide supporting documentation and responses as required.
• Partner with local and group finance teams to investigate and resolve intercompany balances, variances, and reconciliation issues.
• Support group consolidation activities and ensure alignment with corporate reporting requirements.
• Review financial reports, perform variance analysis, and identify areas requiring corrective action or further investigation.
• Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable aging and provide guidance to local teams on resolving outstanding items.
• Serve as a key finance contact during month-end and year-end close activities, supporting stakeholders across multiple countries.
• Contribute to finance transformation and process improvement initiatives focused on reporting quality, automation, standardization, and efficiency.
• Lead and support the ongoing implementation and optimization of Oracle FCCS, including testing, issue resolution, and process alignment.
• Promote the effective use of business intelligence and reporting tools to improve finance workflows and decision‑making.
• Support half-year and year-end reporting requirements for internal stakeholders and external auditors.
• Provide guidance, knowledge sharing, and onboarding support to finance team members as required.

What you will bring

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field, along with a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Significant experience in financial accounting, statutory reporting, consolidation, and financial controls within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, audit requirements, balance sheet management, and financial governance.
• Experience working with finance systems and reporting platforms, including Oracle, SAP, Oracle FCCS, or similar enterprise solutions.
• Ability to analyze complex financial information, identify root causes of issues, and implement practical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across countries and functions.
• A continuous improvement mindset with experience driving process standardization, automation, and reporting efficiencies.
