Job summary

Accenture Poland is looking for a Senior Mainframe Developer to join our team. You will work on IBM Mainframe applications for banking, focusing on COBOL, JCL, CICS, z/OS and DB2, delivering high-quality solutions and helping production support across international projects.

You will mentor junior developers, participate in knowledge sharing, and collaborate in a flexible hybrid work model that combines remote and on-site activities to support client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in development and maintenance of IBM Mainframe applications.
• Strong knowledge of COBOL, JCL, CICS, and z/OS.
• Practical experience with DB2 databases, SQL development, query optimization and data analysis.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and independently design and implement technical solutions.
• Experience troubleshooting production issues and optimizing existing applications.
• Proactive, self-driven approach with accountability for delivered solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within international project teams.
• English proficiency at minimum B2 level.
