Mechanism Ventures is seeking a Lifecycle Growth Consultant for a freelance, remote engagement. You will own the lifecycle strategy and revenue across a portfolio of DTC brands, designing and deploying high-impact email and SMS journeys.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in lifecycle, retention, CRM, or email and SMS marketing
• Deep experience with DTC and e-commerce brands
• Advanced hands-on knowledge of Klaviyo and Shopify
• Demonstrated success improving lifecycle revenue, retention, or CLV
• Strong technical understanding of deliverability, domain warming, and sender reputation

Responsibilities

• Audit existing lifecycle programs, journeys, and performance
• Design and launch sophisticated email and SMS journeys beyond standard flows
• Develop segmentation strategies based on purchase behavior and lifecycle stage
• Improve deliverability through domain warming and list hygiene
• Create high-cadence testing programs across messaging and timing
• Translate performance data into clear decisions about scaling or stopping
