Job summary

Darize is seeking a Senior Lead Data Engineer to drive data engineering initiatives for a client in the financial services sector. You will own the data engineering area, build and optimize pipelines, and partner with BI developers and stakeholders.

The role blends hands-on technical work with leadership, solving complex data challenges, defining standards, and guiding a team in a hybrid Warsaw office, with focus on data modelling, SQL, Python, and Azure data services.

• Good understanding of Power BI and reporting environments.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the data engineering area.

For our client operating in the financial services industry, we are looking for a Senior Lead Data Engineer to work on enhancing data engineering capabilities within a team primarily composed of BI developers. The role involves taking ownership of the data engineering area, identifying gaps and risks, and proactively suggesting improvements.

Work Mode: Hybrid – 2 days in the Warsaw office
