Job summary

Digital Forms is seeking a Lead Back-End Engineer to spearhead architecture and development of sophisticated back-end systems powering client transformations. You will define technical standards, mentor engineers, and ensure scalable, secure, high-quality solutions.

This strategic, hands-on role emphasizes cloud design, code quality, and collaboration with business stakeholders, offering autonomy and impact in a fully remote setup within Poland.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior-level Python experience with Django/FastAPI.
• Advanced knowledge of AWS including serverless patterns and containers.
• Strong track record in designing scalable distributed systems and microservices.
• Hands-on IaC experience with Terraform or similar tools.
• Experience leading and mentoring engineering teams with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design high-level, scalable back-end systems for diverse client needs.
• Define and implement back-end standards, best practices, and code review processes.
• Design and implement cloud infrastructure on AWS, incl. serverless and containers.
• Write clean, maintainable code for critical modules and lead by example.
• Mentor engineers and guide team growth and performance.
• Collaborate with analysts, SMEs and partners to translate requirements into solutions.
• Promote thorough technical documentation across projects.
