Job summary

Entrada AI, a Databricks-backed consulting partner, seeks a Senior Data Engineer to lead scalable data solutions for global clients. You will architect modern Lakehouse environments, migrating from legacy systems and optimizing complex Spark jobs.

Fluency in English is required for client collaboration. Candidates with Databricks Certifications are preferred. This role offers 100% remote work with Poland/ Romania/ Greece availability and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in Data Engineering or distributed systems.
• 3+ years with the Databricks ecosystem (Delta Lake internals).
• Proficient in Python and SQL with cloud experience (Azure or AWS).
• Experience with Unity Catalog, dbt or DLT and modern data stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines using PySpark on Databricks.
• Migrate legacy warehouses to Lakehouse architecture with Delta Lake.
• Optimize Spark jobs for performance and cost (partitioning, Photon).
• Enforce code quality via reviews and CI/CD; ensure security with Unity Catalog.
• Share knowledge and act as a technical advisor to clients.
