Job summary

Marqeta, Inc. is seeking a Risk Senior Analyst, KYC, to own consumer and business CIP/KYC compliance across global issuing partnerships. In this role, you will reduce corporate risk, coordinate with banks, and drive scalable risk controls within the Risk Operations team.

The position is hybrid, based in Warsaw with Tuesday–Thursday onsite work. The candidate should have 5+ years' experience in CIP/KYC, strong SQL/Snowflake/Looker skills, and a proactive, collaborative mindset to support evolving

Qualifications

• 5 years of related experience in risk, compliance or KYC
• Proven ability to design and implement CIP/KYC processes
• Experience working with cross-functional, virtual teams
• Strong prioritization and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Independently resolve CIP/KYC issues through in-depth investigation
• Conduct follow-up CIP/KYC research
• Maintain and exceed standards for customer service and issue resolution
• Coordinate with issuing banks to ensure EMEA/CAD CIP/KYC compliance
• Oversee US and global sanctions research and audits
• Identify and implement process and system improvements to streamline workflows
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Marqeta and issuing bank policies and regulatory requirements
