Job summary

CloudFerro is building Europe’s data cloud and operates platforms for space research. We seek a Senior Software Engineer to own the MLOps and Observability offering for our Kubernetes-based cloud platform, from Kubeflow to monitoring and APIs.

You will drive end-to-end features, collaborate with DevOps and SRE teams, and contribute to robust, scalable services used by leading European institutions. This role requires hands-on engineering and a startup mindset within a growing, impact-driven

Qualifications

• Strong Kubernetes and distributed systems experience.
• Proficient in Go and Python for operators, controllers and APIs.
• Experience designing and wrapping REST/gRPC APIs and integrations.
• Familiarity with ML workflows and AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
• Nice to have exposure to Kubeflow, JupyterHub or similar ML platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own MLOps and Observability end-to-end across Kubeflow, Airflow, and notebooks.
• Develop the monitoring platform and associated observability services.
• Deliver features from API/SDK level to Terraform resources and docs.
• Integrate services with IAM, billing and quota systems.
• Help shape engineering standards and architectural direction.
