Job summary

EcoVadis seeks a hands-on Senior Knowledge Graph Engineer to operationalize ontologies into high-throughput systems powering autonomous AI agents for sustainability challenges. You will bridge unstructured sustainability disclosures with graph databases and drive entity-resolution pipelines.

You will work on GraphRAG ingestion, A-Box instantiation, semantic federation, and deterministic data quality through SHACL, enabling sub-second queries over billions of nodes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 4+ years of production experience building and querying graph databases (LP Graphs or RDF stores).
• Strong experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure and its ecosystem.
• Advanced Python for building scalable data pipelines.
• Experience with NLP frameworks for entity extraction and LLM-based structured extraction.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-throughput GraphRAG ingestion pipelines.
• Build NER, entity linking, and deduplication workflows for canonical graph nodes.
• Integrate internal data with external ontologies and registries (e.g., GLEIF, W3C ontologies).
• Write optimized Cypher and SPARQL queries and support autonomous LLM agents.
• Operationalize SHACL shapes in CI/CD to ensure data quality.
