Job summary

Simple Machines is looking for a Senior / Lead Full Stack Engineer to join their innovative team. This role focuses on developing scalable solutions across the technology stack for their UK-based clients while working remotely from Poland.

Qualifications

• Must have a strong foundation in programming with JVM languages.
• Experience designing data-driven APIs and frontend technologies.
• Experience with large-scale web services and cloud infrastructures.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services for a scalable marketing platform.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and translate requirements.
• Operate within an iterative delivery team using Agile methodologies.

Skills

Strong written and verbal English

Programming in JVM languages (Kotlin or Java)

Frontend development (React.js, Tailwind, Redux, Typescript)

Designing and implementing data-driven APIs

Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

Infrastructure-as-code experience (Terraform or CloudFormation)

Unit and integration testing, ideally TDD and/or BDD

Working with SQL databases
