Job summary

Simple Machines is seeking a Senior / Lead Full Stack Engineer based in Poland. In this role, you will collaborate on complex projects, driving the development of scalable solutions across a full tech stack. Candidates should have a solid foundation in JVM languages, especially Kotlin or Java, along with experience in data-driven API design.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Core foundation in programming, with strong Java/Kotlin skills.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and SQL databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services for marketing platforms.
• Create APIs and document technical requirements.
• Ensure support, including deployment and operations for developed services.

Skills

Strong written and verbal English

Programming in JVM languages (especially Kotlin or Java)

Experience designing and implementing data-driven APIs

Exposure to frontend development (React.js, Tailwind, Redux, Typescript)

Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)

Infrastructure as code experience (Terraform or CloudFormation)

Experience with unit and integration testing

Working with SQL databases
