Job summary

Knauf Information Services GmbH in Katowice seeks a Senior Java & Quarkus software engineer with enterprise integration expertise. You will design and run cloud-native microservices in a Kubernetes environment, connecting SAP ECC/S4HANA with SAP/Non-SAP tools, while shaping architecture patterns and ensuring robust data pipelines.

You will lead integration efforts, mentor engineers, and uphold security, observability, and DevOps practices in a dynamic IT landscape.

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience in Java with enterprise integration.
Strong hands-on experience with Quarkus, cloud-native patterns, and microservices.
Proven SAP and non-SAP integration experience (ECC/S4HANA, CPI/PI-PO or MuleSoft).
Experience with Kafka, API gateways (Kong), and data platforms (Databricks).

Responsibilities

Build Cloud-Native Microservices: design, build, and run high-performance services in Kubernetes using Java & Quarkus.
Implement Enterprise Integration Interfaces (SAP & Non-SAP) linking SAP ECC/S4HANA with integration tools.
Follow & Help Shape Architecture Patterns within EA/SA integration guidelines.
Connect Ecosystem & Data Pipelines with Confluent Kafka, Kong, and Databricks for reliable data exchange.
Ensure Resilience & Observability with OAuth2/OIDC, TLS, CI/CD, and OpenTelemetry.
Drive Engineering Excellence by leading implementation, code reviews, and mentoring engineers.
