Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced Java developer to join a globally distributed team building a strategic data platform for a leading bank. You will own key components across the SDLC, from analysis to deployment, and work within an agile Scrum environment to deliver scalable solutions.

You will collaborate with Business Analysts, Production Support and infrastructure teams, applying engineering excellence standards and contributing to performance improvements while providing Level 3 support as

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Java development.
• Experience with Spring Boot, SQL/PL-SQL, Kubernetes, REST web services, Kafka and Redis.
• Unix commands and shell scripting, familiarity with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience using JIRA, Harness/uDeploy, SonarQube, TeamCity, Artifactory and Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned development projects within agreed schedule, quality and scope expectations.
• Participate in all stages of SDLC within an agile Scrum environment.
• Form partnerships with technology vendors and gain deep understanding of products.
• Enhance/re-architect existing components to satisfy new requirements for performance and scalability.
• Provide level 3 (escalation) support for the application.
