Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Software Developer to maintain and enhance components for exchanges, liquidity pools, brokers and price vendors, with a focus on migrating C++ pieces to Java. You will operate in a fast-paced Agile environment and contribute to expanding the technology stack as Java migration completes.

The ideal candidate has hands-on Java experience, a willingness to work with C++, and knowledge of event streaming and messaging systems to deliver secure, high-performing code.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Java experience, ideally focusing on low latency systems.
• Readiness to work with C++ in scope of components migration to Java.
• knowledge about event streaming and messaging systems
• able to produce secure, stable and good performing code

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop existing and new components to internal and external exchanges, liquidity pools, brokers and price vendors.
• Migrate remaining C++ components to Java.
• Once all components are on Java, expand into other areas in the application stack.
• Deliver front-to-back assigned deliveries within a fast-moving Agile team
