Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group in Poland is seeking a Senior Java & Kotlin Engineer / Tech Lead who merges hands-on development with strong technical leadership. You will mentor engineers, shape system designs and drive architectural decisions to deliver scalable software.

The role is hybrid, requiring 2–3 days per week in our Warsaw or Kraków offices. You will collaborate across teams, promote engineering best practices, review designs, and stay active in coding while guiding delivery.

Senior Java & Kotlin Engineer / Tech Lead

Working model:

About the role

We're looking for a strong, hands-on Senior Java & Kotlin Engineer with experience in technical leadership and mentoring, who is keen to continue developing in this area.

You'll combine hands-on software development with technical guidance, helping shape solutions, maintain high engineering standards and support the growth of other engineers.

What you'll bring

• Strong commercial experience with Java and Kotlin.
• Solid knowledge of software design, system architecture, testing and engineering best practices.
• Experience mentoring engineers, leading technical discussions or guiding technical decisions.
• A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence and support others.
• An interest in growing your technical leadership skills while remaining hands-on with code.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application development.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools, generative AI or integrating AI capabilities into applications.
• Experience with microservices, distributed systems and containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
