Cantor Fitzgerald Ireland Ltd is seeking a Senior Java Developer to join the Trading Systems team. You will design, build, and maintain server-side Java components for a high-frequency trading platform, leveraging Spring and Spring Boot to deliver scalable, low-latency solutions.

Collaborate with traders and engineers to deploy robust features, drive performance improvements, and ensure code quality with automated tests and reliable DevOps practices.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with electronic trading systems is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools like Splunk, ELK, Grafana/Prometheus.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side Java applications for trading platforms.
• Implement robust, scalable solutions using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with business analysts, tech leads, traders, and other developers to deliver mission-critical features.
• Optimize application performance for high throughput and low latency in a real-time trading environment.
• Ensure code quality through unit tests and end-to-end test automation.
• Participate in DevOps pipeline development and deployment automation using Git/GitLab, Maven, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
