Appfire is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer to evolve a modern cloud-based SaaS platform. You will design backend features, optimize services, and support systems used by thousands of tenants.

This role reports to the Senior Manager of Engineering and collaborates with product, UX, and frontend teams to deliver reliable, well-tested SaaS solutions. You can work remotely from anywhere in Poland, joining a team of 800+ employees across 28 countries to build scalable software and explore

Qualifications

• Solid Java foundation with Spring, Hibernate and SQL.
• Experience with unit/integration tests and clean code.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted tooling and modern dev tools.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing new backend functionalities.
• Ensure high code quality through tests and peer reviews.
• Collaborate with product, UX, and frontend teams.
• Address performance and scalability challenges.
• Adopt AI tools to boost productivity and enable AI-driven features.
