Job summary

Salve.Inno Consulting is seeking a deeply hands-on Senior Java Engineer to provide technical leadership. You will design, build and ship production code across multiple microservices in a distributed, cloud-native environment with Java as the primary language and Python across parts of the platform.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Product Owners and DevOps, and contribute to architecture decisions while working remotely within the EU.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Hands-on Java development experience in production systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable backend services and APIs, primarily in Java.
• Contribute to Python services and codebases when required
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance without line-management responsibility
• Build and operate cloud-native services, primarily on AWS
• Collaborate with Product Owners to evaluate requirements and delivery approaches
• Review code and establish engineering standards
