Job summary

NATEK is seeking a Senior Java Developer to support a client in the energy sector in Poland. You will develop and maintain Java applications with Spring Boot, Docker, and Kubernetes, and work with Kafka, Spark/Flink, and CI/CD in cloud environments.

The role requires 8+ years of Java experience, strong design patterns, English C1 and German B2, and readiness to start on short notice. You will collaborate in an Agile team and contribute to secure, high-performing software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of professional Java development experience.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot or similar frameworks (Quarkus/Jakarta EE).
• Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes; extensive Kafka/Kafka Streams knowledge.
• Experience with Apache Spark and/or Flink; practical CI/CD and security know-how.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java applications and services.
• Implement new features based on business and technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing solutions.
• Work with Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud environments.
• Ensure software quality, security, performance, and reliability.
