Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to own a complex business-critical software platform for a global leader in energy and maritime. You will drive future development, contribute to cloud transformation, and tackle challenging engineering problems across software development, cloud, and platform engineering.

You will work with Java, Python, React.js, Node.js, and Golang, build in GCP/AWS, implement IaC with Terraform/Ansible, and use GitHub Actions and Jenkins.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Full-stack Java Developer.
• Strong expertise in Java, Python, React.js, Node.js, and Golang.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically GCP and AWS.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation and scripting tools such as Terraform, Ansible.
• Proficient in using GitHub and CI/CD practices.
• Advanced level of English.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of complex custom software solutions and development pipelines.
• Setting up a cloud-based environment in GCP for development, build, and deployment.
• Collaborating with a team of developers to enhance and maintain the existing solution.
• Utilizing modern technologies, including Java, Python, React.js, Node.js, and Golang.
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automation using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Working with version control systems like GitHub and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
• Maintaining legacy pipelines in Jenkins as needed.
• Exploring opportunities for integrating data streaming solutions such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
