Job summary

Altium Limited is seeking a Senior Backend Developer (Java) to join the Altium 365 R&D team in a temporary, fixed-term contract of 6 to 12 months. The role focuses on building cloud-native backend services and scalable infrastructure for electronics design collaboration.

You will work with Java, AWS, and multi-tenant architectures, contributing to high-load systems and a mix of engineering software and cloud services. This is a hands-on role in a fast-moving product environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Java development and cloud-based backend services.
• Experience with MySQL databases; knowledge of FireBird or Oracle is a plus.
• Knowledge of .NET Core and/or .NET Framework is desirable.
