Job summary

Sii Poland seeks a Java Architect for a large-scale Java application serving Germany's loyalty program. You will own features end-to-end, analyze requirements and production issues, and design robust, maintainable solutions within a complex enterprise monolith.

The role requires Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Docker, strong architecture and testing skills, and fluent Polish and English. Expect monthly on-site work at the client office in Warsaw and close collaboration with stakeholders, product teams

Qualifications

• 10+ years backend software development experience.
• 5+ years Java in large-scale enterprise apps.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot, OOD & clean code.
• Experience with Java 17/21 and Docker.
• CI/CD, automated unit/integration tests.
• Polish and English proficiency; Poland residency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a large-scale Java app running in the cloud.
• Analyze requirements and production issues to design robust solutions.
• Own features end-to-end from analysis to deployment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product teams, and engineers.
• Create and maintain automated tests to ensure quality.
• Contribute to architecture by proposing improvements.
• Communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Work from client’s office in Warsaw once a month.
