Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Java Architect to join a team delivering a large-scale Java application for Germany's largest loyalty program. You will analyze requirements and production issues to design robust, maintainable solutions within an enterprise monolith, owning features end-to-end from analysis to deployment.

You will collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams and engineers, communicate complex concepts clearly, and contribute to architecture while building automated tests.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend software development experience.
• 5+ years hands-on Java in large-scale enterprise applications.
• Solid knowledge of Java, Spring/Spring Boot, OO design and clean code.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a large-scale Java application running in the cloud.
• Analyze business requirements and production issues to design robust, maintainable solutions.
• Contribute to the continuous evolution of a complex enterprise monolith.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements to deployment and production support.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams and engineers.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Create and maintain automated tests to ensure software quality.
• Contribute to architecture by supporting architectural design and improvements.
