Job summary

Astek Group Poland is seeking a skilled Business Analyst for a Life Science client. You will lead end-to-end BA activities, translate complex business needs into clear User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, and support agile ceremonies across international teams.

The role requires 5+ years as IT BA, experience with Jira, Confluence, Figma/Miro, BPMN/UML, and stakeholder facilitation. We offer long-term collaboration, training opportunities, and a net daily rate of 800–1,050 PLN.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, with a strong track record of independently leading end-to-end BA activities.
• Excel at gathering, analyzing, and translating complex business requirements into clear User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and actionable solutions.
• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Scrumban), backlog refinement, and PI Planning.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, Figma, Miro, Lucidchart, or Balsamiq.
• Knowledge of BPMN and UML for process modeling and system documentation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, ability to facilitate workshops, and collaborate with international teams.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, challenge assumptions, and propose effective business and technical solutions.
• Experience supporting UAT, change management, and project documentation.
• Interest in AI innovation, including prompt engineering and AI use case development

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with global stakeholders to understand business needs, align expectations, and ensure effective communication.
• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Creating detailed User Stories and Acceptance Criteria in Jira, managing backlog refinement, and supporting Product Owners during PI Planning.
• Translating business requirements into process models and system flows using BPMN and UML.
• Designing wireframes and functional mockups using tools such as Figma, Miro, or Lucidchart.
• Identifying opportunities to leverage AI, defining use cases, and testing and optimizing AI-generated responses through prompt engineering.
• Supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), solution demos, and user adoption activities.
