BNP Paribas CIB in Poland is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to shape the next evolution of our credit platform, bridging credit risk, front office, and digital transformation to deliver high-impact solutions.

You will own end-to-end credit workflows, drive strategic alignment with global teams, oversee UAT, mentor junior BAs, and promote best practices across squads. Fluency in English and experience with credit lifecycle systems are essential.

Qualifications

8+ years as a Business Analyst in corporate credit.
Experience with credit lifecycle management and risk systems.
Exposure to complex credit products and cross-functional initiatives.
Fluency in English and experience with Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Own Credit Platform Evolution: lead functional design of end-to-end credit workflows.
Shape long-term improvements in facility management, covenant tracking, and risk integration.
Ensure the platform supports high-value credit products (syndicated loans, structured finance, trade finance).
Drive Strategic Alignment: collaborate on multi-year strategic roadmap with Global Framing Team.
Partner with Credit Risk, Front Office, and Tech Leadership to prioritize the midterm roadmap.
Influence decisions on credit system architecture, automation, and scalability.
Present solutions to senior stakeholders.
Enable Adoption & Quality: oversee UAT and change management for critical credit features.
Mentor junior BAs and standardize best practices across teams.

ABOUT THE JOB

BNP Paribas CIB is a top-tier corporate bank, processing €Xbn+ in annual credit exposures across 50+ markets. Our credit platform is the central system for origination, risk management, and portfolio monitoring, used daily by thousands of bankers globally to structure and manage complex credit facilities. We are expanding our team and looking for a Senior Business Analyst to help shape the next evolution of this platform. This role sits at the crossroads of credit risk, front‑office activity, and digital transformation, offering real impact and visibility across the organisation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Own Credit Platform Evolution
- Lead the functional design of end-to-end credit workflows (origination, approvals, monitoring).
- Shape long-term improvements in facility management, covenant tracking, and risk integration.
- Ensure the platform supports high-value credit products (syndicated loans, structured finance, trade finance).
Drive Strategic Alignment
- Collaborate with the Global Framing Team on the multi‑year strategic roadmap.
- Partner with Credit Risk, Front Office, and Tech Leadership to prioritize the midterm roadmap.

PROFILE & SKILLS

8+ years as a Business Analyst in corporate credit, with expertise in:

Credit lifecycle management (origination → monitoring → syndication).
Credit risk systems (limits, covenants, exposure tracking).
Complex credit products (syndicated loans, structured finance, trade finance).
Proven ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives (Credit, Risk, Tech).
Experience in leveraging AI tools (LLMs) in developing and managing requirements.
Experience in Agile environments with distributed teams developing IT systems.
Basic technical knowledge in SQL / API specification and testing
Fluency in English.
Exposure to ESG‑linked credit or sustainable finance – Nice to have.
Knowledge of credit pricing, RWA optimization – Nice to have.
Familiarity with cloud‑based or AI‑augmented credit systems – Nice to have.
