Job summary

Marqeta seeks a Senior Technology Auditor to safeguard IT controls across our technology operations. You will conduct IT audits, SOX testing, and risk assessments, partnering with Engineering, TechOps, and Finance to strengthen ITGCs and application controls.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup from our Warsaw office (Tuesdays and Thursdays onsite), collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable remediation plans and data-driven audit reports that support compliance and operational

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT auditing, SOX compliance, and risk assessments.
• Experience evaluating ITGCs and ITACs with IAM, Change Management, and IT Operations.
• Experience reviewing SOC 1 reports and mapping vendor controls.
• Experience auditing cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and DevOps.
• Strong communicator who can present audit findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute IT audits and SOX testing per PCAOB standards.
• Partner with Engineering, TechOps, and Finance to strengthen IT controls.
• Provide practical remediation recommendations and drive closure.
• Own SOX testing areas and coordinate with external auditors.
• Identify IT risks and enhance cybersecurity and IT resilience.
• Draft data-driven audit reports with actionable findings.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement of controls.
