Job summary

HeadHR is seeking an IT Analyst / Data Analyst to deliver data driven solutions for risk management and regulatory reporting in a regulated financial environment. You will bridge business stakeholders and development teams, gather requirements, and translate them into features and user stories.

You will support data solution design and end-to-end process improvements, drive data validation, quality, and CI/CD aware workflows while coordinating across teams in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills including complex queries
• Experience with data analysis, data quality, and data hygiene in large-scale environments
• Familiarity with Hive and big data ecosystems
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and modern data workflows
• Excellent communication with business and technical teams

• Drive requirements analysis, solution refinement, decisions, data validation and data quality.
• Manage dependencies across teams and contribute to Agile planning, refinement, testing and delivery.
• Facilitate communication between business and technical stakeholders and support continuous improvement.

Work model and benefits:

• Hybrid work from Gdynia or Gdańsk, with two or three days per week in the office.

Key requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as an IT Analyst, Business Analyst, Solution Analyst, Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong SQL skills, including reading, writing and analyzing complex queries.
• Experience with complex business and functional requirements, data analysis, data quality, data validation, data hygiene, Hive and large scale data environments.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Ability to drive tasks, features, user stories and investigations from start to finish.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working with business users and technical teams.
• Understanding of Big Data concepts, modern data ecosystems, machine learning fundamentals and CI/CD concepts.
• Solution oriented mindset and ability to understand new technologies at a high level.

Nice to have:

• Python for scripting, automation or data analysis.
• Apache Spark.
• Solution design in data and analytics environments.
• Data governance, data modelling or data engineering concepts.
• Experience in an Agile delivery environment.
