Job summary

Alarm.com is seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to lead the design and development of complex iOS features for our flagship mobile application used by millions of customers. You will own the full project lifecycle—from requirements and architecture to implementation, release, and iteration with cross-team collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of iOS experience, deep Swift/SwiftUI proficiency, and strong RESTful API integration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional iOS development in production apps.
• Proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and modern concurrency patterns.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and backend integration.
• Strong communication and ability to mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex iOS features.
• Own full project lifecycle from requirements to delivery.
• Architect real-time video capabilities and streaming workflows.
• Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews.
