Job summary

Sowelo Consulting is seeking an iOS Software Engineer to craft production-grade native apps with a strong emphasis on on-device and cloud-based AI features. You will own the client experience, ensuring high performance, reliability, and user trust across a fully remote global team.

You will integrate intelligent features, collaborate with ML and backend engineers, and shape UX patterns for real-time interactions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience using Swift.
• Experience implementing AI-driven or ML features within mobile apps.
• Advanced knowledge of Swift concurrency (async/await), memory management and background processing.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-performance native iOS apps using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Integrate AI-driven features through backend APIs and on-device ML.
• Design client experiences for real-time interactions, handling latency and model updates.
• Profile and optimize app performance, battery life, and memory usage.
• Collaborate with ML and backend teams to define API contracts and architectures.
• Maintain production quality and App Store readiness.
