Job summary

JDE Peet's is seeking an Internal Control Expert to partner with finance teams across the cluster to strengthen financial integrity and risk management. You will advise the cluster CFO and country finance managers on internal control issues and ensure compliance with global standards.

You will oversee controls in financial, compliance, and regulatory areas, train local teams, conduct quarterly testing, resolve SAP access issues, and coordinate remediation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years in internal controls, audit, or risk management.
• Knowledge of COSO framework and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with SAP GRC and internal control tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• High integrity and confidentiality.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal controls across financial, compliance, regulatory areas.
• Train local control performers and ensure proper use of reporting tools.
• Conduct quarterly control testing and verify documentation quality.
• Resolve SAP access issues and manage SoD conflicts.
• Coordinate remediation of deficiencies and update documentation.
• Assess local risks and improve the global control framework.
• Support audits and monitor management letter responses.
• Contribute to policy updates and sharing best practices.
