Job summary

Google is seeking software engineers in Kraków to work on next-generation infrastructure and platform projects. You will contribute to end-to-end development, focusing on large-scale systems, distributed computing, and AI-enhanced solutions across ChromeOS-related initiatives and related platforms.

Staff in this role will help design, build, and test scalable software delivering high performance across Google’s global infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
• 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.

Responsibilities

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Develop ways to apply AI to increase team velocity, make our systems work more intelligently, and solve infra-related problems for our users.
• Perform integration testing, process automation, monitoring, and bug fixing.
• Develop full stack web applications, backend systems, pipelines, or tools across varied codebases.
