Job summary

Sopra Steria is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Katowice to design and implement a centralized credential management service for Windows environments. You will drive the project end-to-end, enabling secure credential retrieval for Ansible/AWX, with robust IAM/PAM controls and DevSecOps alignment.

The role requires strong Windows admin/security, AWX/Ansible experience, and fluent French/English. It is a 6-month engagement based in Poland with a focus on enterprise-grade security.

Qualifications

• Strong Windows Server administration and security knowledge.
• Hands-on Ansible automation experience (AWX preferred).
• In-depth IAM, PAM and credential management expertise.
• Solid DevSecOps practices and IAM/PAM concepts.
• Experience designing secure authentication and credential management solutions.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives from assessment to implementation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Fluent French and English (spoken and written).
• Available for a 6‑month engagement; possible extension.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a centralized credential management service for Windows servers.
• Deliver a secure solution enabling automated retrieval/use of credentials by Ansible/AWX workflows.
• Define credential deployment and lifecycle management across Windows servers.
• Ensure granular access control at server and server-group levels with multiple privilege tiers.
• Implement credential rotation and time-bound access for security/compliance.
• Ensure compatibility with Windows Server 2012 R2+ environments.
• Align solutions with cybersecurity best practices, avoiding deprecated auth protocols.
• Collaborate with infra, security, and automation teams to select/implement credential solutions.
• Conduct technical studies, PoCs, and assessments within the enterprise ecosystem.
• Lead the implementation, integration, and operation of the chosen solution.
• Provide guidance and ensure adherence to DevSecOps throughout the project.
• Drive the project autonomously, managing priorities, risks, and stakeholders.
