Job summary

Infolet is looking for a seasoned Infrastructure Engineer in Kraków to design and automate on-prem infrastructure and platform services. You will build IaC with Terraform and Ansible, develop secure CI/CD pipelines, and automate OS and database provisioning while ensuring compliance and security best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible or similar CM tools.
• Experience with Terraform or equivalent IaC tooling.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for infra or platform changes.
• Strong scripting in Python, Bash, and/or PowerShell.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of provisioning, configuration, patching, backup and restore.
• Experience with Git, branching strategies and code reviews.
• Good understanding of secrets management and least-privilege access.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication across engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain IaC for on-prem infrastructure including compute, storage, network, OS, and DB components.
• Develop reusable automation modules and templates using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
• Automate OS and database provisioning, configuration, patching, hardening, and compliance.
• Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and platform automation.
• Implement pipeline controls including approvals, audit trails, secrets management, and change traceability.
• Collaborate with OS/DB patching and Platform Engineering to reduce manual work.
• Create infrastructure monitoring, alerts, and dashboards for availability, performance and deployment success.
• Participate in incident management and on-call/rota support.
• Perform RCA and implement automated fixes to prevent outages.
• Contribute to runbooks, docs, and continuous improvements.
