Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering.
• Experience in Product Transfer, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or NPI.
• Experience converting technical data into engineering recommendations.
• Experience in equipment specification, commissioning, verification, and transfer.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems design including quality controls and logistics.
• Hands-on time studies, cycle-time analysis, line balancing, and OEE calculations.

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Transfer assessments: scope, requirements, risks, deliverables, readiness.
• Perform equipment analysis: capacity, condition, safety, lifecycle cost.
• Develop capacity models using demand, mix, uptime, and cycle times.
• Design receiving-plant manufacturing systems: flow, staffing, interfaces with quality/logistics.
• Collect and analyze labour data; establish labour standards in planning systems.
• Plan cycle-time studies and document assumptions for planning models.
• Calculate takt time and identify capacity constraints for improvements.
• Develop layouts using Lean principles and space utilization data.
• Lead equipment qualification activities and related studies.
• Prepare make-versus-buy assessments considering capacity, cost, and risk.
• Identify and eliminate MUDA via value-stream mapping and Kaizen.
