Job summary

Norconsult Poland in Kraków is seeking a Senior HVAC Engineer to design and deliver sustainable building services for projects on the Danish market. You will work with architects, electrical engineers, and project managers to develop high-performance ventilation, heating, cooling, and plumbing solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.

The role requires a degree in mechanical/building services, at least five years of HVAC design experience, proficiency with BIM tools,

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC design.
• Experience designing ventilation, heating, cooling, and plumbing systems for building projects.
• Strong understanding of sustainable and energy-efficient building services solutions.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, calculations, specifications, drawings, and tender documentation.
• Experience working in a BIM environment and collaborating within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Familiarity with Danish or Nordic design standards
• Experience delivering projects in an international environment
• Knowledge of sustainable and low-carbon building solutions

Responsibilities

Senior HVAC Engineer (VVS Engineer)

As a Senior HVAC Engineer (VVS Engineer), you will be responsible for designing and delivering sustainable building services solutions for projects carried out on the Danish market. Working closely with architects, electrical engineers, project managers, and other technical specialists, you will help deliver efficient and high-performing systems across residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and public-sector projects.

• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken
