Job summary

Norconsult Polska Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join the Krakow team and deliver electrical design for buildings, infrastructure and utilities.

The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams across the Nordic‑led Norconsult Group and projects for the Danish market. Applicants should have a degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant experience, strong English skills, and familiarity with Danish or Nordic standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical design and systems for buildings, infrastructure or utilities.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution, lighting and low‑voltage systems.
• Experience in BIM environment and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Proven ability to prepare technical docs, calculations and tender materials.

Senior Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems for a variety of projects
• Prepare technical documentation, calculations, specifications, and tender documents
• Coordinate electrical designs with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery
• Support commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and system optimization activities
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and client requirements
• Participate in technical reviews, design coordination meetings, and client consultations
• Review and verify technical solutions throughout project development
• Contribute to the delivery of cost-effective and sustainable engineering solutions
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout all project phases

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical design
• Experience designing electrical systems for buildings, infrastructure, industrial facilities, or utilities projects
• Knowledge of power distribution, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems
• Experience preparing technical documentation, calculations, specifications, and tender documents
• Experience working in a BIM environment and collaborating within multidisciplinary project teams
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken
• Nice to have Familiarity with Danish or Nordic design standards
• Experience delivering projects in an international environment
• Knowledge of sustainable and energy-efficient design solutions
