Job summary

Norconsult Poland is seeking an experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to design and deliver sustainable building services for Danish-market projects. You will work with architects, electrical engineers, and project managers to develop high-performing systems across residential, commercial, industrial, and public-sector projects.

The role requires a Mechanical/Building Services degree and at least 5 years of HVAC design experience, with strong BIM and English proficiency to collaborate with

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC design.
• Experience designing ventilation, heating, cooling and plumbing systems for building projects.
• Strong understanding of sustainable and energy-efficient building services solutions.
• Experience preparing technical documentation, calculations, specifications, drawings, and tender documentation.
• Experience working in a BIM environment and collaborating within multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Very good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems, including ventilation, heating, cooling, and plumbing systems.
• Perform engineering calculations, system sizing, and energy optimization analyses.
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and tender documentation.
• Coordinate HVAC solutions with architects, electrical engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, sustainability targets, and industry standards.
• Participate in commissioning activities and system performance reviews.
• Evaluate and optimize building services solutions to improve energy efficiency and operational performance.
• Review and verify technical solutions throughout project development.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary project teams throughout all project phases.

Senior HVAC Engineer (VVS Engineer)

As a Senior HVAC Engineer (VVS Engineer), you will be responsible for designing and delivering sustainable building services solutions for projects carried out on the Danish market. Working closely with architects, electrical engineers, project managers, and other technical specialists, you will help deliver efficient and high-performing systems across residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, and public-sector projects.

Responsibilities

• Design HVAC systems, including ventilation, heating, cooling, and plumbing systems

• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, drawings, and tender documentation
