Senior Hardware Developer – Power Converters for Light Rail Vehicles

  • Develop and optimize power converter topologies for traction and auxiliary systems in LRVs
  • Ensure system-level functionality and compliance with customer specifications and standards
  • Conduct engineering tests and measurements on prototypes and production units
  • Select and validate power semiconductors (IGBTs, SiC-MOSFETs) for converter designs
  • Simulate power electronic systems using MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE tools
  • Collaborate with EMC specialists to ensure compliance with railway EMC standards
  • Document design processes and support certification and homologation activities
Our requirements
  • Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in hardware development for power electronics.
  • Strong experience in:
