Job summary

Mirantis is seeking a Software Engineer to help shape the future of k0s, the CNCF Sandbox project's open source Kubernetes distribution. You’ll contribute to a single binary packaging and collaborate with a remote team across European time zones.

You will develop and maintain upstream k0s related projects, design features from cloud native tech, and evangelize our approaches within Mirantis and the broader OSS community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain upstream k0s related projects under the CNCF umbrella
• Design and implement integrating new features from the cloud native technologies landscape that complement the Mirantis Kubernetes products
• Follow the latest developments in the container technology ecosystem and identify matters that could impact the product roadmap
• Act as a cloud native software and technologies subject matter expert and evangelist within the company and broader community
