Job summary

Mirantis in Warszawa is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build production-grade control planes for bare-metal provisioning, datacenter networking, and DPU platforms. You will work across Rust and Go, using Kubernetes operators, gRPC/Protobuf, and modern APIs to drive reliability and scale.

You will contribute to OpenTelemetry instrumentation, drive architecture decisions, and collaborate on cross-functional reviews in a fast-paced, open-source–oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience in cloud-native platforms, systems programming, networking, or infrastructure automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade control plane microservices and Kubernetes operators in Rust and Go.
• Architectural design of FR/NFRs, system diagrams, and REST/GRPC schemas.
• Develop network integrations for modern network OS and DPU hardware platforms.
• Instrument services with OpenTelemetry and perform root-cause analysis across distributed systems.
• Participate in PR-driven workflow with high test coverage across Rust, Go, and SQL codebases.
