Our team is looking for a Middle+/Senior Golang Developer for one of our clients.

The project: It is a global mobility and urban services platform that allows users to book rides or other services and negotiate the fare directly with the service provider. It offers a variety of services including ride-hailing, intercity travel, delivery, and task assistance, operating in over 700 cities across 47 countries and is the second most downloaded mobility app in the world.

Tasks:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Golang, ensuring clean and efficient code.
• Optimize applications for high-volume data storage, performance, and scalability across multiple countries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature design, system architecture, and shipping new features.
• Debug technical issues, implement unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.

Our expectations of the ideal candidate:

• 5+ years of experience with Golang.
• Proficient in APIs and microservices architecture, including design and implementation.
• Strong experience with SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and familiarity with non-relational databases.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack and good grasp of server‑side and client‑side development limitations.
• Strong self‑management: ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proactive and ownership‑driven mindset.
• Effective and clear communication, including in distributed teams.
