Job summary

Grid Dynamics in Poland is seeking a Senior Golang Developer to join a high-impact engineering initiative for a leading global financial services client.

You will design and build high-performance Go microservices, implement custom tooling, and integrate with IDEs (VSCode), CI/CD, and observability tooling to accelerate modernization.

Collaborating with a dedicated squad, you will ship robust, scalable software under tight release cycles while maintaining excellent code quality and performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience with Go.
• Proven experience architecting and shipping distributed Go microservices and APIs (gRPC, REST).
• Experience building developer tooling, build engines, or CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Go concurrency, memory management, profiling, and high-throughput backend design.
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud-native observability.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production-grade Go microservices and APIs.
• Develop custom tooling, DSL parsers, and language support.
• Integrate backend services with VSCode extensions and IDE workflows.
• Ensure automated testing, CI/CD, and observability across distributed Go services.
• Collaborate within a squad to deliver architecture on tight release schedules.
