Job summary

ZF Group is seeking a Senior Program Buyer to drive on-time program launches and cost targets, collaborating with engineering, procurement, and suppliers across global teams. You will lead negotiations, manage supplier changes, and coordinate cross-functional efforts to optimize value in the Electronics Portfolio.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in a related field, 3+ years’ experience, strong financial acumen, and proficiency in SAP or QAD, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in supply chain, engineering, business or related field relevant to Purchasing.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience with cross-functional team leadership.
• Strong understanding of financials for program launches and data-driven recommendations.
• Global experience preferred (AP, EU, Mexico).
• Advanced Excel; proficient in Word/PowerPoint and SAP and/or QAD.
• Negotiation experience as primary supplier spokesperson desired.
• Ability to negotiate with suppliers and internal customers on cost/quality/timing.
• Excellent English; Polish language adds value.
• Experience in international, dynamic environments with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time program launches and cost targets for piece price and tooling.
• Collaborate with project team to meet quality, delivery and cost goals; manage supplier changes.
• Align sourcing with cost targets and global purchasing processes; coordinate commodity strategies.
• Lead cross-functional meetings with suppliers to improve cost and delivery.
• Develop and launch new suppliers; negotiate with commodity teams.
• Identify cost savings in engineering changes, VAVE, lean and re-sourcing.
• Represent Purchasing in program launch reviews and liaise with Portfolio, Engineering and Purchasing teams.
