Job summary

HUBER+SUHNER in Gdansk seeks a GL specialist to join the Finance Shared Service Center. You will manage General Ledger processes across group companies and support month‑end closing, reporting, and process improvements.

Required: 4+ years in GL/accounting, a related university degree, SAP S/4HANA, strong Excel, and fluent English (B2). Work involves collaboration with cross‑functional and international teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in General Ledger accounting or full-cycle accounting.
• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Strong understanding of month-end closing and reconciliations.
• SAP S/4HANA knowledge and English (B2).
• Advanced Excel skills and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage General Ledger processes across group companies.
• Support month-end closing, reporting, and process improvements.
• Post accruals, provisions, prepayments, and journal entries.
• Reconcile balance sheet and P&L; prepare reports for group reporting.
• Intercompany reconciliations and balance analyses.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, Controlling, HR, and international teams.
• Participate in finance transformation and automation projects.
• Create and maintain process documentation.
