Job summary

Vertex Agility in Kraków (Cracow), Poland, seeks an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer for cloud operations in a regulated financial environment. You will own GCP infrastructure, automate using Terraform, and collaborate with global IT teams to ensure reliability.

Requirements include 5+ years in DevOps/Cloud, hands-on GCP, Terraform, and CI/CD experience. The role offers a hybrid work model with regular office visits and opportunities to grow cloud expertise.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related infra role.
• Hands-on with building/configuring GCP infra.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and IaC.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
• Practical GCP networking knowledge: VPCs, XPN.
• Knowledge of cloud security/compliance: IAM, auditing, monitoring.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication; global collaboration.
• Willingness to learn banking compliance and expand AWS/Azure skills.
• Ability to operate in a global environment and support incidents.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and maintain GCP infrastructure and cloud foundation platform.
• Handle operational tickets in JIRA and troubleshoot infra issues.
• Support incidents, alerts, and operatinal activities to ensure cloud service uptime.
• Automate repetitive tasks using scripts and Infrastructure as Code.
• Implement and manage Terraform-based infrastructure.
• Configure and maintain GCP networking (VPCs/XPN).
• Manage cloud services: IAM, logging, OS, containers.
• Ensure security policy and governance compliance.
