Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a Senior GCP Engineer with AI expertise to help build and mature a centralized Cloud Product Engineering capability. The role focuses on standardizing GCP services, developing reusable Terraform modules, and applying consistent patterns for internal teams on a data mesh project.

You will collaborate with data engineers and architects to optimize the GCP platform, implement CI/CD with GitHub Actions, ensure security and reliability, and document deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) including compute, storage and networking.
• Experience designing cloud infrastructure using GCP, Terraform, and GKE.
• Proficiency in DevOps practices, CI/CD, and shell scripting.
• English level B2+ for global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain the GCP environment for the data mesh project.
• Collaborate with teams to define cloud infra requirements and ensure scalability, security, reliability.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and automation using GitHub Actions.
• Create and maintain documentation for GCP infrastructure and deployments.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and issues in the GCP platform.
• Adhere to standards, best practices, and guides.
