Job summary

Box Poland is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our Content Creation team. You will work on Notes and Canvas, delivering high-quality, scalable web UI using React.js with strong HTML/CSS and modern front-end practices.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design APIs, and contribute to real-time features and engineering standards. The role requires ownership, security-minded development, and occasional on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Deep expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript with React.js and strong HTML/CSS knowledge.
• Some backend coding experience with Node.js is required, and proficiency will be an advantage.
• Experience designing and implementing APIs and services; solid grasp of system design and data modeling.
• Proven ability to design, build, and deploy high-quality software.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, software design principles, and OO programming.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and responsive software using modern technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to onboard, share knowledge, and align on responsibilities and priorities.
• Participate in regular team meetings and 1:1s to ensure alignment and continuous improvement.
• Create clear technical documentation, reusable patterns, and examples across teams.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, research, documentation, and bug triage while maintaining quality and security.
• Represent and advocate for Box Poland’s engineering excellence internally and externally.
• Maintain and support one or more legacy codebases.
• Contribute to defining and implementing engineering standards across product teams.
• Participate in our on-call rotation, available at all times while on-call.
