Directio is seeking a skilled Fullstack Developer to join a Swedish client project, focusing on automating business processes through scalable CPQ software. You will work across backend Java and frontend JavaScript, contributing to a framework and ensuring smooth product delivery for global users.

You will collaborate in an international, agile environment, engaging with Product Management and architecture teams to deliver high-quality features and robust software solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java (17+) backend experience.
• Strong JavaScript experience for UI and bridging frontend/backend.
• Ability to translate specs into practical software solutions.
• Experience in designing software solutions and architectures.
• Proficient written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop the core CPQ software for the international client, building scalable solutions that can become part of the standard product offering.

• Contribute to the client-designed framework written in Java and help evolve it further.
• Collaborate with an international team including architects and developers, ensuring alignment with Product Management.

About project:

We are looking for a Fullstack Developer for our Swedish client who will participate in developing a product to automate business processes, ensuring they run smoothly and eliminating the need to spend time on recalculating various product configurations during business negotiations.

Responsibility:

• As a Fullstack Developer you will be developing the core CPQ software for an international software company, building scalable solutions that will become part of the company’s standard product offering;
• You will be implementing feature requirements to enhance the functionality, usability, and performance of the company’s core software, ensuring it meets evolving business needs;
• You will be working on an innovative framework designed by the client, written in Java, and if desired, contributing actively to its development process, shaping its growth and evolution;
• You will be collaborating within a diverse international team, including architects and developers with varied backgrounds and seniority levels, maintaining close contact with Product Management for alignment on project goals;
• You will be working within an agile methodology, participating in sprints and adapting to iterative development processes for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, demonstrating a strong background in building and maintaining software systems;
• Strong experience with Java (17+) language, enabling you to develop robust and efficient backend solutions;
• Strong experience with JavaScript, demonstrating your capability to contribute to the user interface and bridge the gap between backend functionality and user-facing features;
• Ability to interpret and transform functional specifications into intuitive, non-complex, and creative software solutions, ensuring user satisfaction;
• Experience with designing software solutions, showcasing your ability to architect and implement high-quality features;
• Ability to describe and document solutions, ensuring clarity and ease of understanding for team members and stakeholders;
• Ability to work independently, managing tasks and responsibilities with minimal supervision;
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken, enabling effective collaboration within an international team.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with testing practices and tools, showcasing your ability to write and execute automated tests that enhance the reliability and quality of the software;
• Experience working with TypeScript, providing additional strength in building maintainable and type-safe frontend or backend code.
