Job summary

Jit Team in Poland is seeking a Senior Technical Leader and hands-on Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure enterprise applications across Europe. Qualifications

• Min. 8 years of commercial experience as a Software Developer.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks).
• Proficiency in back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar; Django).
• Database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• API development: RESTful APIs design and development.
• Cloud/DevOps: Azure, Kubernetes; CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Security: authentication, authorization, encryption, secure coding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure enterprise applications across the full stack.
• Define technical architecture and drive technology decisions in line with business goals.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and maintainability guidelines.
• Build and enhance web applications, backend services, REST APIs, and data processing solutions.
• Lead cloud-native and microservices-based solutions with automation and CI/CD.
• Own the end-to-end SDLC from requirements to deployment and support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, secure, high‑quality enterprise applications used across multiple business units throughout Europe. Combines software architecture, full‑stack development, and technical leadership. Key responsibilities include defining technical roadmaps, establishing development standards and best practices, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives while maintaining performance, reliability, and scalability.

Expected Competences and Knowledge

• Min. 8 years of commercial experience as a Software Developer
• Front‑end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks)
• Back‑end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar languages; experience with frameworks like Django)
• Database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, strong data‑modeling skills)
• API development: design and maintain RESTful APIs
• Cloud and DevOps: familiarity with Azure and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes); CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
