Jit Team in Poland is seeking a Senior Technical Leader and hands-on Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver scalable, secure enterprise applications across Europe. You will shape technical roadmaps, establish standards, and align solutions with business goals while ensuring performance and reliability.

Expect to lead full-stack development, collaborate across business units, and mentor colleagues in a fast-paced Agile environment with hybrid work from Gdańsk.

Qualificações

• Min. 8 years of commercial experience as a Software Developer.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks).
• Proficiency in back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar; Django).
• Database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• API development: RESTful APIs design and development.
• Cloud/DevOps: Azure, Kubernetes; CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Security: authentication, authorization, encryption, secure coding.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and maintainability guidelines.

• Own the end-to-end SDLC from requirements to deployment and support.

Senior Technical Leader and hands‑on Software Engineer. Responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable, secure, high‑quality enterprise applications used across multiple business units throughout Europe. Combines software architecture, full‑stack development, and technical leadership. Key responsibilities include defining technical roadmaps, establishing development standards and best practices, and ensuring solutions align with business objectives while maintaining performance, reliability, and scalability.

Expected Competences and Knowledge

• Min. 8 years of commercial experience as a Software Developer
• Front‑end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks)
• Back‑end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java, or similar languages; experience with frameworks like Django)
• Database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, strong data‑modeling skills)
• API development: design and maintain RESTful APIs
• Cloud and DevOps: familiarity with Azure and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes); CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Security practices: knowledge of authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding standards
• Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• Establish and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, software quality principles, and maintainability guidelines
• Build and enhance modern web applications, backend services, REST APIs, and data processing solutions
• Design and optimize data models, system integrations, and enterprise workflows to guarantee reliability, scalability, and performance
• Lead implementation of cloud‑native and microservices‑based solutions, supporting automation and CI/CD
• Own the end‑to‑end software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through design, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Monitor progress, manage priorities, and ensure timely delivery in Agile/Scrum environments
• Drive improvement initiatives, enhancing performance, user experience, and development efficiency
• Mentor and support team members through coaching, technical guidance, knowledge sharing, and code reviews
• Champion quality through testing, debugging, performance optimization, and adherence to security standards
• Ensure compliance, governance, and security requirements are met and maintain documentation and operational readiness
• Partner with infrastructure and IT teams to enable smooth deployment, releases, and platform stability
